Little Oak Lane
Woodland Hills · Primary bath, down to the studs
A residential construction studio working in the Hidden Hills, Calabasas, and Malibu canyons. Custom homes, whole-home remodels, and additions — finished the way you'd want your own house finished.
Emet means truth in Hebrew. It's written with three letters — the first, the middle, and the last of the alphabet. Beginning. Middle. End.
We started Emet in 2026 after nearly a decade in residential construction. Along the way, we moved between several firms because we weren't willing to compromise on how we do this work. We learned that the moment a project starts, priorities can shift. Clients can stop mattering. Speed can become everything.
We refused to accept that trade-off. So we started Emet on one principle: if you're willing to be honest at every stage — foundation to frame to finish — the work speaks for itself. From the first walkthrough to the last punch list, the only way a house holds up is if every layer underneath it is honest. That's what Emet means. That's what we're building on.
We work on a small number of residential projects at any one time. Each gets a dedicated project manager and a job site you'd be comfortable bringing your kids to.
Ground-up residential builds, from architect coordination through final walkthrough. We sit at the table from the first set of drawings.
Full down-to-studs renovations. Reconfigured floor plans, new systems, and finish work that respects what was worth keeping.
The two rooms where the joinery, the plumbing, and the millwork all need to land within a sixteenth of each other. We like working there.
Second-story additions, primary suites, guest houses, detached ADUs. New space that reads like it was always there.
Pools, pool houses, covered patios, outdoor kitchens, hardscape. Built for actual California weather — and California fire code.
Re-piping, panel upgrades, structural retrofits, waterproofing, drainage. The parts of a house that decide whether the rest of it lasts.
A walkthrough at your property or current home. We listen to how you actually live, what's not working, and what the budget really is. Honest assessment, no pitch.
We coordinate with your architect or bring one in. Scope is locked, line-item numbers go on paper, and you see exactly what you're buying before anything starts.
One project manager. Clean, dust-walled job site. Weekly written updates with photos. You always know what's happening this week, next week, and where the money is.
A real walkthrough, a punch list we actually close out, a binder with every spec and warranty, and a phone number that still works in year five.
Projects our team led and built over nearly a decade in the field, before founding Emet. Full galleries, references, and walkthroughs available once we've spoken.
If something is going to cost more, take longer, or not work the way you pictured it — you'll hear it from us first, and you'll hear it early. That's the whole business model.
Send a note and we'll get back to you within two business days. If it's a fit, the next step is a walkthrough — at our cost, no obligation.
